Administrative & Accounting Manager (W/M)

If you've ever put a letter in a letterbox, you're bound to have come across the Dejoie Foundry ! Dejoie has been supplying all the letterboxes in France since 1949. However, this is not our only activity, as our aluminium foundry produces all types of aluminium parts, from rough castings to the manufacture of assembled sub-assemblies for the industrial sector. Our 3rd activity, and by no means the least, makes our company a recognised specialist in security seals in several types of material. Founded in 1929, the company has around 15 employees and is part of Groupe Lemer, an industrial group with 60 employees and sales of €13m (including €3m from Dejoie).

Joining Dejoie does not mean joining a start-up environment, but it does mean joining a company, an SME in the industrial sector, with values of trust, collaboration and agile expertise that the group's director and his teams strive to embody every day both internally and with customers.

To accompany the retirement of our current Administrative and Accounts Manager, we are looking to replace her in this position. The role offers clear, varied tasks under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Director, based at the LEMER Foundry premises, to whom you will report :

  • Managing the accounts department for Fonderie Dejoie
  • Entering invoices and financial transactions
  • VAT and DEB déclarations
  • Monitoring of banks and cash-flow
  • Drawing up balance sheets and interim statements
  • Management of cost accounting
  • Purchasing for production
  • Monitoring purchases for the aluminium business (materials, tools, transport, etc.)
  • Monitoring stocks
  • Manage sales
  • Processing mailbox orders for La Poste customers
  • Manage customer relations and deal with customer requests
  • From time to time, manage sales and marketing for the ‘sealed’ business.
  • In conjunction with the HR officer based at the Lemer Foundry, provide support for human resources
  • Identify and correct clocking anomalies
  • Answering HR questions from Dejoie employees

You have an accounting background and have worked for a number of years in a company in the industrial sector. Your motivation for joining this position is based on your attachment to good relations with the teams and the interest of the tasks proposed. You're familiar with SMEs, and you're aware of the need for versatility. You enjoy working as part of a team, as your purchasing and sales tasks will require you to interact with your various colleagues. Ideally, but not necessarily, you will be familiar with CLIPPER, an ERP system specialising in industry. You will be supported in your development by the CFO and all the Dejoie et Lemer teams. A recovery period is also planned with the current manager to enable you to take up the position in the best possible conditions.

You would like to make a long-term investment in an industrial SME whose human values, supported by the Managing Director, are proximity and respect for people.

Each application will be considered on the basis of business and interpersonal skills rather than years of experience.

Benefits associated with the position: Flexible working hours, €10 meal voucher, health insurance, profit-sharing, etc.
